The events in the Book of Revelation took place in THAT generation. It is not a prophecy book for future events thousands of years later. Like ALL other books in the Bible it is historical, educational and relevant in all ages. The Bible is our guide. There have been many beasts, marks, etc. throughout history. Unfortunately the Book of Revelation has been grossly misused and many have misinterpreted the text. The eNemy can use poor theology and interpretation of Scripture to iTs advantage.
